She has been studying food and sustainability for the last 10 years. She is “stubbornly optimistic” that we can solve the climate problems by working as communities, inventing innovative products, and reducing our demands on the planet. Elise sits on the board of 350 Chicago which enables Chicagoans to take tangible actions that make a positive impact on climate and the planet.
Her goal is to help simplify climate science to get people involved in creating their own personalized sustainability plans.
